Mike Biagiotti

I’m a self-taught Long Beach based artist originally from Long Island, NY, who moved to Southern California as a child and have lived in Los Angeles, Orange County, and San Diego. Through the use of bright colors and bold abstract shapes created with a combination of spray, oil and acrylic paints, watercolor and ink, colored pencil, photography, and illustration, I capture the diversity and spirit of Southern California. Many of my works feature handmade frames. I consider my work “California Street/Pop Art”. I perform music on the alter ego "Dr. DethRyde" and have particpated in SoundPedro which takes place annually at the Angel's Gate Cultural Center.
